Penn’s Human Resources Learning and Education Program has a new line-up of courses for December. Take self-assessment tests, learn about managing in a structureless environment and get tips on how to give a dynamic presentation . All courses are offered at the Training Center, 3624 Market St., Suite 1B South, unless noted otherwise.

Introduction to the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator: Take a self-assessment test to identify your strengths, motivations and potential areas for growth. In the process learn how to appreciate those different from you.

- Dec. 6, 9 a.m. to noon, $50

Professional Development Program: This newly revised program will help you evaluate your career, skills and goals, both personal and professional. Format includes lecture and individual and group work.

- Dec. 4 and 5, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., $50

Live Satellite Broadcast: Managing Without Structure: Part of the Satellite Series, this live, interactive broadcast will explore the implications of managing in a structureless environment. Lessons explored will include why the traditional structure is doomed, managerial roles in the customer-driven organization and alternatives to formal structure. Michael Hammer, considered one of the four pre-eminent management thinkers of the 1990s, will lead the discussion.

Strategies for Developing Effective Presentation Skills: This two-day American Management Association course will teach you how to present a clear, informative, memorable, convincing and motivating presentation.

Communicating, Negotiating and Prioritizing Skills for Administrative Professionals: Learn proven methods for multitasking, identify your negotiation strengths and extend your network with this American Management Association course.
