Get men’s basketball tickets for a special price

Let’s go Qua-kers! Boom, boom, boom-boom-boom! Let’s go Qua-kers! Boom, boom, boom-boom-boom!

Penn faculty and staff can purchase tickets at the discounted price of $7 for each of the men’s basketball team’s remaining home games.

The 9-9 Quakers, standing 2-0 in Ivy League play after besting Columbia (66-64) in New York City, and beating Cornell (64-52) in Ithaca, N.Y., will take on Big Five foe Saint Joseph’s on Saturday, Jan. 21, at 7 p.m. at The Palestra.

On, Monday, Jan. 30, Penn’s archrival Princeton comes to town and the Quakers will look to avenge last year’s sweep by the Tigers.

Harvard, ranked No. 24 in the ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll, visits The Cathedral of College Basketball on Friday, Feb. 10. Last year’s home vs. Harvard game, an 82-83 loss, went into double-overtime. The Quakers battled back from 18 points down to force the extra period. Zack Rosen led Penn with 21 points and tied a school record with 13 assists.

Additional men’s basketball home games include bouts against Dartmouth on Feb. 11, Cornell on Feb. 17, Columbia on Feb. 18, and Brown on March 2.

Saturday, March 3, is Senior Night, the last home game for seniors Tyler Bernardini, Larry Loughery, Rob Belcore, Mike Howlett, and Zack Rosen. The Quakers will clash with Yale at 7 p.m. at The Palestra.

Guards Rosen and Bernardini are the Quakers’ leading scorers, averaging 18.4 and 15.2 points per game, respectively. Bernardini is the leading rebounder, pulling down nearly 6 boards a game, and nailing 43 percent of his 3s. Rosen, who leads the team in assists, shoots 42 percent from beyond the arc and an astonishing 92 percent from the foul line (63-68).
